Ujjaini, a city of spiritual, cultural, religious and historical importance in Madhya Pradesh, is now creating a history of economic self-reliance. The Regional Industry Conclave Ujjain will provide employment opportunities to the youth. The state will take a new turn in industrial, technological and economic development.

India is not only fulfilling its needs with its own resources but has also become an exporter of defense and scientific technology products. All this has been possible due to trust and cooperation of the society towards the efficient leadership, guidance and vision of the Prime Minister. A new chapter of development of Madhya Pradesh is starting from today. For the first time, “Regional Industry Conclave-2024” on the theme “Madhya Pradesh is the Future Ready State” is starting in Ujjain. Leading industrialists from India including the United States, Canada, Fiji, Germany, Gabon, Israel, Japan, South Korea, more than 30 representatives from Singapore and Zambia and more than 650 leading industrialists will participate. This two-day long conclave will have buyer and seller meet, business to business conference and five theme based sessions to lay the foundation of the golden future of Madhya Pradesh. .

It is a coincidence that Vikramotsav is also being inaugurated along with the Regional Industry Conclave in the city of Baba Mahakal. The King Vikramaditya is a symbol of cultural development, bravery and glory of India. He was such a great king of unparalleled valour, justice and good governance who is remembered with reverence throughout the world. Vikramotsav, which will last for 40 days in Ujjain, will be organized with the grandeur, divinity and greatness of King Vikramaditya.

This event focuses on remembering the virtues of Vikramaditya and India’s rise, renaissance and knowledge tradition during his era. The great King Vikramaditya started the Vikram era in 57 BC by conquering the Shakas from this Ujjaini. This Samvat is considered to be a universally accepted and universal proof of time calculation and time determination. In the golden age of independence, the Indian chronology system is being restored in the form of Vikramaditya Vedic Clock in Ujjain. In the Vikramaditya Vedic clock based on the Indian astronomical theory, the main bases are Muhurta, Ghati, Pal, Kasta, Prahar, day-night, Paksha, Ayana, Samvatsara, Divyavarsha, Manvantar, Yuga, Kalpa, Brahma. This has been propounded by wise sages. Vikramaditya Vedic clock also includes Vikram Panchang. It will also include Jyotirlingas, Navagraha, constellations, sunrise and sunset of India.

We all are familiar with the glorious past of Ujjaini. Ujjaini, one of the Saptpuris of India, is not only famous for the ashram of Maharishi Sandipani, the place of education of Lord Shri Krishna-Balram, the glory of King Vikramaditya, the knowledge of Bhartrihari, but has also been guiding the world in the field of knowledge and science. It is situated near the Tropic of Cancer.

Ujjain has a world famous observatory. Vikram Trade Fair is being organized for the first time in the world famous Ujjaini. Madhya Pradesh is moving forward on the path of progress under the leadership and guidance of the successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Our visionary Prime Minister believes that there comes a time in the development journey of a nation when all circumstances are in its favour. This is the time when that country makes itself strong for many centuries to come. It is an opportune time for India today. This time is unprecedented. An initiative has been taken to start Regional Industry Conclave for the first time. In the coming time, similar cnclaves will be organized in Gwalior, Jabalpur, Rewa, Tikamgarh and Sagar also.

Every region of Madhya Pradesh has its own capability, intelligence and speciality. Organization of region-wise conclaves will give a comprehensive look to the business possibilities in every region. This will improve the possibilities of achieving qualitative results for the progress of industries. With the establishment of sector-wise industries, while trade will expand, employment and self-employment opportunities will also increase.

Madhya Pradesh has made basic arrangements for industries of all sectors and developed policies as per the needs of the industries. The state is committed to implementing the spirit of “Ease of Doing Business”.

Cultural evolution is happening in the country under the leadership of the illustrious Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The foundation stone for the construction of the country’s first and unique Veer Bharat Museum is being laid. In Veer Bharat Museum, the ancient Vedic, later Vedic, Ramayana-Mahabharata period, Vikramaditya era, Middle Age, India’s long tradition of lionizing against subjugation, the heroes, philosophers, mantra seers, sages, saints, mystics, thinkers, poets-writers. The unique contributions of artists, scientists and entrepreneurs will be highlighted.

I am happy to inform that under the guidance of the Prime Minister, we are going to organize Shivjyoti Arpanam program on the occasion of Gudi Padwa and Ujjain Pride Day. A world record will be set by lighting about 27 lakh lamps. Certainly, this joint event between the government and the society will give all of us a feeling of supernatural joy.

The change coming through these series of Regional Industry Conclaves organized with his encouragement will not only provide employment and self-employment opportunities to the youth along with industrialization and technological development, but will also set a pattern in the development of the state. I have confidence that this will create a new foundation for the progress and prosperity of Madhya Pradesh.
