Chief Electoral Officer Shri Anupam Rajan said that the election process is being completed in four phases in 29 Lok Sabha parliamentary constituencies of Madhya Pradesh. Peaceful voting has been completed in all the Lok Sabha parliamentary constituencies of the first, second and third phase. Voting will be conducted on May 13 in the fourth and final phase of voting in remaining 8 Lok Sabha parliamentary constituencies in the state.

Shri Rajan said that the political advertisements to be published a day before and on the day of voting in the fourth and final phase of voting in the state will have to be first certified by the MCMC Committee. Only advertisements certified before the committee can be published in print media.

Shri Rajan said that the Election Commission of India has made special arrangements for political advertisements to be published in print media on the day before and on the day of voting. Such promotional advertisements can be published in newspapers only after prior certification from the committee.

Shri Rajan informed that in the fourth and final phase in the state, political advertisements to be published in 8 Lok Sabha parliamentary constituencies Dewas (SC), Ujjain (SC), Mandsaur, Ratlam (ST), Dhar (ST), Indore, Khargone (ST) and Khandwa on May 12 and on the voting date, May 13, will have to be certified before the MCMC committee.
