Chief Minister Dr. Yadav addresses basic training programme of state services’ officers

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has asked the candidates selected by Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission to discharge their duties as government servants in the spirit of public service and public welfare. Have faith in yourself and never let the tendency to postpone work dominate you. Postponing work is a sign of incompetence and lack of self-confidence. Therefore, while remaining disciplined, always try to improve your efficiency and remain fearlessly dedicated to public interest. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav shared the principles of administration and management with the candidates through the stories of Vikram-Vetal. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the inaugural session of the 110th and 111th Joint foundation Training Programme for State Services’ Officers at the Academy of Administration Auditorium. He lit the lamp and inaugurated the programme, following which the session started with the Sankalp gaan of the Academy.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that training plays an important role in improving personality and developing the ability to discharge one’s responsibilities and tasks efficiently. Training helps in increasing our ability and capacity to do productive work. Therefore, it is necessary to take the basic training programme seriously. The programme will provide candidates with an overview of the objectives of state governance, rules and procedures of government service and public expectations. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated the candidates for their selection in Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission and wished them for their bright future.

Additional Chief Secretary Shri Vinod Kumar said that a 7-week training session has been organized at the Academy of Administration for 210 candidates selected by Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission for the year 2019 and 2020. The trainees include officers selected for Home, Cooperative, Excise, Industries, Labour, School Education and Tribal Affairs Department. In the training session, the candidates will be made aware of the nuances of governance, schemes and programs run in the state and problems of the common people. The training session also includes the excursion programme of the candidates.
