The scheme will enhance agricultural practices, boost productivity, and empower farmers economically

The Krishak Unnati Yojana is bringing prosperity to farmers across the state and ensuring they receive fair prices for their produce. On March 12, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai disbursed Rs 13,320 crore to the accounts of over 24.72 lakh farmers, sparking joy among farmers throughout the entire state. Farmers are wisely utilizing the funds to purchase agricultural equipment, educate their children, and finance their sons’ and daughters’ marriages.

Shri Shailesh Verma from Kobiya village, Shri Vinod Verma from Mohbhatta village, and Shri Lal Singh Verma and Shri Mahesh Kumar Sahu from Sagoni express their delight at receiving the difference amount in their bank accounts. As promised, the state government has procured 21 quintals of paddy per acre from farmers, resulting in a record-breaking purchase of nearly 145 lakh metric tonnes of paddy during the Kharif season. The government has upheld its commitment by procuring paddy at Rs 3100 per quintal.

Farmers in the district expressed their gratitude towards Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai for the input assistance under the ‘Krishak Unnati Yojana’.

Shri Nagmani Verma from Karmada village in Balodabazar district heaped praise on the scheme’s significant benefits, as he received about Rs 1 lakh as input assistance. He plans to invest in expanding farming operations and financing his children’s education, as they currently commute long distances for schooling. “My children currently have to travel a long distance from the village for their studies. I want to buy a vehicle for my children with this amount to make their commute easier. This scheme will enhance agricultural practices, boost productivity, and empower farmers economically”, he said
