Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited the newly installed Vikramaditya Vedic Clock at Jiwaji Vaidhashala in Ujjain on Friday and gave detailed information about the importance and features of the Vedic Clock to the investors attending the Regional Industry Conclave. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav held talks with the investors in a special banquet organized on this occasion. Flute players gave a melodious presentation of many bhajans including ‘Ram Aayenge Meri Jhopdi Ke Bhaag Khul Jayenge’. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav welcomed the flutists with a bouquet and also presented his pen as a memento.

It may be noted that the Vikramaditya Vedic Clock has been manufactured by Aaroh Srivastava of Lucknow based organization ‘Aarohan’. In this clock, 24 hours of GMT are divided into 30 Muhurat (Ghati). Every Ghati will have a religious name and special meaning. The clock will also have hour, minute and second hands. It will calculate the time based on sunrise and sunset. We will also get information related to Muhurta calculation, Panchang, weather through this clock.

The Vedic Clock gives us information about Indian time calculation Vikram Samvat along with Vedic time, IST, GMT. Vikram Samvat Panchang (India’s ancient calendar) will also be included. It will give information about planets, yoga, bhadra, moon position, Nakshatra, chaughadiya, solar eclipse, lunar eclipse from sunrise to sunset. All information related to Abhijeet Muhurta, Brahma Muhurta, Amrit Kaal and weather will be available. After every hour a new picture will appear in the background of the clock. Along with Dwadash Jyotirlinga temple, Navagraha, Zodiac sign, other religious places will also be visible. Beautiful sunsets and solar eclipses from across the country and the world will also be seen. The Vedic clock will be connected to the Internet and Global Positioning System (GPS).

A mobile app related to Vedic clock will also be launched. All the features of Vedic clock will be in this app. The changes in the clock in Ujjain will also be shown in the app. You will also be able to operate it manually. You will be able to download it from Play Store.
