Yo Yo Honey Singh meets ‘brave soul’ Rhea Chakraborty

Mumbai, Dec 25 (IANS) Punjabi singer and rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh posed for a picture with Rhea Chakraborty and said that it feels amazing to meet a “strong woman” like her.

Honey Singh took to his Instagram, where he shared a picture posing alongside Rhea. In the image, the “Blue Eyes” hitmaker, who is seen dressed in an all blue outfit, is seen striking a pose next to Rhea, who has her arm around the rapper’s shoulder, as they got clicked.

Tagging her as a “brave soul”, he wrote: “Its feels so amazing to meet a strong woman for real @rhea_chakraborty #bravesoul.”

Rhea was dating late star Sushant Singh Rajput, who died by suicide in 2020 in his residence in Juhu. After the incident, Sushant’s father lodged a complaint against Rhea, accusing her of abetment of suicide.

Rhea and her brother Showik Chakraborty were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a drugs case related to Sushant.

Few years after Sushant’s death, Rhea made a comeback with “MTV Roadies,” where she was seen as a gang leader.

Rhea started her television career in 2009 with MTV India’s TVS Scooty Teen Diva, where she was the first runner-up. She later auditioned to be a VJ at MTV Delhi and was selected.

She has hosted several shows, such as the Pepsi MTV Wassup, TicTac College Beat and MTV Gone in 60 Seconds.

It was in 2012, when Rhea stepped into the world of acting with the Telugu film Tuneega Tuneega. A year later, she made her debut in the Hindi film industry with “Mere Dad Ki Maruti”. She was then seen in films such as “Sonali Cable”, “Bank Chor”, “Half Girlfriend”, “Jalebi” and “Chehre” starring Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi in the lead.

She will now be seen in the new season of “Roadies”, a youth-based reality show.
