We have learned a lesson by refusing to watch the film Lal Singh Chaddha” Kapil Khanna, President, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Delhi

Special screening of ‘Durghatna Ya Saajish Godhra’ organized in the capital Delhi

15th July , PVR Plaza, New Delhi: Following the successful screenings in Godhra and Ahmedabad, the filmmaker of ‘Accident or Conspiracy Godhra’, one of today’s most discussed films, organized a film screening in Delhi for elite politicians, socialites, and influential people. This special screening was organized at PVR Plaza, Delhi, on July 14, 2024. The same was attended by Saurabh Dubey, Ka VHP Head Delhi, Charu Pragya, Dr. Harshvardhan, Basuri Swaraj, etc.

A big incident took place in Godhra, Gujarat, three decades ago, but since then, not only the victim’s family but also the entire nation wanted to know about the people or group involved in burning the S6 coach of Sabarmati Express. The concerned authorities and government agencies have submitted their reports on the Godhra case, but was that enough to meet the exact curiosity and concerns of the people? If yes, then why is it questionable if that was an accident or a conspiracy? Audio visuals are one of the most powerful mediums to convey the message, and the film ‘Accident or Conspiracy Godhra’ clearly and loudly answers many such unanswered questions.

Producer B J Purohit has already announced that the 10% earnings from the film will be directly distributed to the families of the 59 people who died in the Godhra train massacre. In a recent screening of the film at Godhra and Ahmedabad, most of the cast and crew of the film met the families of the Godhra case victims and tried to know their reactions to whether they had made the right efforts towards revealing the truth behind the nation’s most controversial case.

On this occasion, Kapil Khanna, President, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Delhi said that “Godhra is the next film to hit theatres, following The Kashmir Files and The Kerala Story. Under the pretext of the Gujarat riots, the Godhra reality was concealed, but this movie will depict the massacre that killed 59 Kar Sevaks aboard the Sabarmati Express. The Indian public is evolving, and we would like to clarify that we will persist in imparting a lesson to those who disparage the country. We have learned a lesson by refusing to watch the film Lal Singh Chaddha. These days, we have to plan our religious pilgrimages around police protection. The Amarnath Yatra is being overseen by seventy thousand law enforcement officers.”

The film “Accident or Conspiracy Godhra” has made headlines because of a number of censorship-related issues. The Censor Board conducted tests at different stages, and the producers had to wait a long time for the results. The movie has been granted censor approval, and on July 19, it will open nationwide in theatres. Along with Hindi, the film will also be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
