Voting will be held from 7 am till 6 pm
Voting will be conducted in three assembly constituencies of Balaghat parliamentary constituency from 7 am to 4 pm
In the first phase of Lok Sabha Elections-2024, voting will be held in 6 Lok Sabha parliamentary constituencies of the state on Friday, April 19. Voting will be held from 7 am to 6 pm in Lok Sabha parliamentary constituencies No. 11 Sidhi, No. 12 Shahdol (ST), No. 13 Jabalpur, No. 14 Mandla (ST), No. 15 Balaghat and No. 16 Chhindwara. Voting will be held from 7 am to 4 pm in only three assembly constituencies of Balaghat Lok Sabha parliamentary constituency – No. 108 Baihar (ST), No. 109 Lanji and No. 110 Parswara. All the polling parties have left for their respective polling centers to conduct the voting.
Holiday declared on voting day
For the convenience of voters, there will be a public and general holiday on polling day (April 19) in the above mentioned 6 parliamentary constituencies. The state government has declared public holiday and general holiday in the respective areas on the day of polling using the powers conferred in Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.
Citizens to get information about voting percentage from Voter Turn-out App and CEO MP website
On the day of voting, information about voting percentage will be available on the Voter Turnout App of the Election Commission of India and the website of Chief Electoral Officer, Madhya Pradesh https://ceomadhyapradesh.nic.in. Through this, citizens will be able to get information about the voting percentage recorded every two hours. Citizens will have to download the Voter-Turnout App by visiting Google Play Store.
