Ujjain Regional Industry Conclave Scheduled for March 1st and 2nd

Inauguration of 56 Projects across 20 Districts, Including Bhopal, Indore, and Ujjain, with a Total Investment Exceeding Rs 74,000 Crores

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is set to inaugurate and dedicate 56 projects during the Regional Industry Conclave in Ujjain on March 1 and 2. These projects span 20 districts, including Bhopal, Ujjain, and Indore, and are expected to attract investments exceeding Rs 74,000 crores, creating employment opportunities for over 17,000 individuals..

The Industry Conclave has already secured investment proposals worth Rs 74,711 crore from 35 companies, with this figure expected to rise before the event. Over 800 investors, including 30 foreign delegates, will participate. The government’s approach is to prioritize immediate investment execution over MoU signings, focusing on companies and individual investors ready to invest promptly.

The government is placing special emphasis on a buyer-seller meet aimed at boosting exports, with over 3,200 units already registered. This initiative will facilitate the entry of the state’s producers of agricultural products, handlooms, and handicrafts into the global market.

Chief Minister to Engage in Direct Dialougues with Investors

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will engage in one-on-one discussions with investors, allowing them to directly share their perspectives with him. Additionally, five sectoral sessions will be conducted to provide detailed insights into the state’s industrial policy and to furnish information to industrialists. Subject experts will also be on hand to offer insights into the state’s industrial landscape and policies.

During the Regional Industry Conclave, various industrial units are planning to establish plants for a range of products on 644.97 acres of land. The proposed investment for these projects is approximately Rs 8014.94 crore, which is expected to create employment opportunities for more than 12 thousand individuals in the districts of Ujjain and Indore divisions. These units will focus on sectors such as food processing, plastics, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, technical textiles, advanced carbon, cement, oxygen cylinders, ethanol, textiles, apparel, detergents, and more in the aforementioned districts

Various industrial units to organize Exhibitions

Various industrial units will organize exhibitions in the Regional Industry Conclave, focusing on their products, which mainly include Auto-OEM products by VECV Limited, Plastic products by Shreeji Polymer, Garment by Best Corporation, Plastic Recycling by Enviro Recycling, PVS Pipes by Sudhakar Pipes, Gas Distribution by Gujarat Gas Limited, Bag Manufacturing by Brand Concept, Medical Devices by Yasen, medical devices by Vanushi Pvt. Ltd. and e-bikes and e-cycles by Tetvaleps.

Innaugration and dedication in more than 12 industrial areas

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will virtually innaugrate and dedicate various units at more than 12 industrial places in the state in the Regional Industry Conclave. In order to spread public awareness about industrial development to every corner of the state, the dedication and bhoomi pujan programmes will be organized on a large scale at the local level. Ge general public will also be present in the programmes along with local public representatives and representatives of units.
