Two Divyangs Receive Battery-Operated Tricycles on the Instructions of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai

On the instructions of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, two Divyangs, Tikeshwar Patel and Gauri Khandel, were provided with battery-operated motorized tricycles by the district administration. Both beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Sai and the district administration for making their lives more convenient.

Thirty-four-year-old Tikeshwar Patel, a resident of Atharguri village in the Pithora development block of Mahasamund district, and thirty-year-old Gauri Khandel, a resident of Remda village, were delighted to receive the tricycles from Collector Shri Prabhat Milak. Previously, commuting was a challenging task for both individuals, requiring the assistance of family members for even the simplest of tasks. With the motorized tricycles, Tikeshwar and Gauri can now move around with ease and convenience.

Deputy Director of the Social Welfare Department, Mrs. Sangeeta Singh, stated that both Tikeshwar and Gauri are more than 80 percent disabled. This significant disability prompted the Social Welfare Department to provide them with motorized tricycles, enabling them to carry out their daily tasks with ease and comfort while also allowing them to earn a living through self-employment.
