He urged the installation of CCTV cameras in rural areas with support from the Panchayat and Rural Development Department and the Tribal Affairs Department. Dr. Yadav highlighted that more than two thousand villages have benefited from the redefinition of police station boundaries. He called for the removal of discrepancies in district boundaries and the adjustment of police station boundaries accordingly. Additionally, he suggested studying the arrangements of large cities in other states to propose improvements for major cities in the state. During the meeting, it was reported that the boundaries of 627 police stations were redrawn based on feedback from public representatives and other sections, resulting in reduced distances for 2,216 villages from their respective police stations.

No delay in out-of-turn promotion for better work

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that strict action must be taken against policemen who are negligent or not serious about their duties. He emphasized that cases of out-of-turn promotions, awarded as incentives for exemplary work, should be expedited and not remain pending. It was reported in the meeting that 2,926 promotions have been granted in the state since December 15. Dr. Yadav also highlighted the need to integrate the youth of Sansi, Kanjar, and Pardhi families into the mainstream of society.

Arrangements should be made for auction of doda chura as crops

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was apprised about the ongoing anti-Naxal campaign and efforts to curb terrorist activities in the state. He instructed arrangements for regular meetings with neighboring states to address inter-state crimes and other illicit activities. Dr. Yadav also emphasized the need for establishing a system to auction doda chura, considering it as a crop.

An intensive awareness campaign should be conducted to protect people from cyber-crime

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said to ensure swift action towards training, raising awareness, technical upgrades, and creating new positions to enforce the new criminal laws effectively. He proposed the introduction of forensic science courses in state colleges and urged for an extensive awareness campaign to combat cybercrime. Dr. Yadav also stressed ensuring seamless access to benefits under the Madhya Pradesh Police Health Protection Scheme for policemen without pending bills. Simplification of the process for policemen to purchase private residences and the development of an efficient system for this purpose was also highlighted. Furthermore, he instructed the establishment of police bands in every district and encouraged local activities promoting traditional musical instruments like bands and drums. Dr. Yadav commended the communal harmony demonstrated in Ujjain through the collaborative removal of encroachments as an exemplary model.
