Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the state government has deposited ₹1,250 along with aadditional ₹250 into the accounts of sisters under the Laadli Behen Yojana. The state government is committed to bringing smiles to the sisters. He extended his best wishes to sisters. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav appealed to everyone to hoist the national flag at their homes during the “Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan”.
Dr. Yadav said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi provides every possible help to citizens in need.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced the renaming of Bhainsdehi College to Freedom Fighter Ganjan Singh Korku College and the naming of Menda Reservoir after Freedom Fighter Ram Bhau Korku. He also announced the establishment of a Tribal Culture Study School in Bhainsdehi and the approval of a 100-bed civil hospital in Bhimpur.
Dr. Yadav celebrated the “Shravan Festival”. He also participated in a folk dance in traditional tribal attire.
Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Shri Uike stated that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, the government has made path-breaking decisions for the welfare of the tribal community. He said that November 15 is celebrated as Adivasi Gaurav Divas. In the past 10 years, respect for tribes in the country has increased, and ample employment opportunities are now available in their own villages.
Inauguration of Development Projects
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated and performed groundbreaking for development works worth 60.29 crores. This includes groundbreaking for 11 works worth ₹26.70 crores and the inauguration of 7 works worth 33.59 crores by the Public Works Department’s Bridge Development Corporation.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav honoured the descendants of Freedom Fighters Shri Ganjan Singh Korku and Sardar Vishnu Singh Gond. He also planted a mango sapling under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Abhiyan”. It was reported that under this campaign, 3.40 lakh saplings have been planted in the district so far. The Chief Minister distributed benefits under various government welfare schemes during the event.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inspected the stalls set up by various departments at the event in Bhainsdehi, Betul district. He praised the products presented by women self-help groups at the Livelihood Mission stall, including vermicompost, home decoration items made from bamboo, soap, washing powder, and attractive brass metal items. Additionally, the Forest Department stall showcased Mahua laddoos, Mahua biscuits, and bamboo craft.
