Second randomization of EVMs completed for four Lok Sabha constituencies

Randomization will be done separately due to large number of candidates in two Lok Sabha constituencies

Chief Electoral Officer Shri Anupam Rajan said that Lok Sabha elections will be conducted in 4 phases in the state. The first phase of voting will take place on April 19. He informed that the second randomization of EVMs for 4 Lok Sabha constituencies has been completed on April 3. This randomization took place at the Lok Sabha parliamentary constituency headquarters in the presence of candidates, observers and returning officers. This includes Shahdol (ST), Mandla (ST), Balaghat and Chhindwara. Due to large number of candidates in two Lok Sabha constituencies, Sidhi and Jabalpur, second randomization will be done separately with separate FLC of an additional Ballot Unit (BU).
