Run ‘Chalo booth ki ore’ campaign at every polling station

Under the Lok Sabha Elections-2024, the third and fourth phase of voting in the state is going to be held on 7th May 2024 and 13th May 2024 respectively. To motivate more and more people to vote in the voting process, the ‘Chalo booth ki ore’ campaign should be run at every polling station. Chief Electoral Officer Shri Anupam Rajan has given these instructions to the Collectors and District Election Officers of the respective districts.

Shri Rajan said that for the third phase this campaign should be run on May 1 and for the fourth phase on May 7 and other events should also be organized to increase the voting percentage. Under the campaign, intensive SVEEP was conducted at each polling station through Booth Awareness Group (BAG) members, Campus Ambassadors, Resident Welfare Committees (RWAs), Electoral Literacy Clubs (ELCs), Non Government Organizations (NGOs), Election Pathshala and local people. Action should be taken to make people aware and motivate them to exercise their franchise by organizing activities. Instructions have also been given to provide high quality photographs and videos of the organized activities.

Campaign will run on 20,456 polling stations of the third phase

In the third phase, voting is to be held in 9 Lok Sabha constituencies of the state. This campaign will be run at 20 thousand 456 polling stations which includes Betul, Morena, Bhind, Gwalior, Guna, Sagar, Vidisha, Bhopal and Rajgarh Lok Sabha constituencies.

Campaign at 18,007 polling stations in the fourth phase

In the fourth phase, this campaign will be run at 18 thousand 7 polling stations in 8 Lok Sabha constituencies of the state. This includes Dewas, Ujjain, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Dhar, Indore, Khargone, Khandwa Lok Sabha constituencies.
