MPs presentation was effective in the NITI Aayog meeting
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the next Regional Industry Conclave of the state will be organized in Gwalior on 28th August. In order to encourage investments and industrial activities in all the districts, ground works should be accomplished. People engaged in traditional industries, trades and business should also be encouraged to expand their activities. Investment and industrial activities should be increased equally in all the districts. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the ministers before the meeting of the State Cabinet. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also called upon all public representatives including ministers, MPs and MLAs to celebrate the festival of Rakshabandhan in their respective areas.
PM Shri Modi praised river linking campaign
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed Ministers that the presentation of Madhya Pradesh in the NITI Aayog meeting held recently in New Delhi was effective. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the task of transforming India into third economy of the world in the next 5 years and the goal of Amrit Kaal of the year 2047 was discussed in detail. It is a matter of happiness that the roadmap set by the state government is in line with the national goals.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in the CM Conclave, Prime Minister Shri Modi talked about establishing communication and contact with every beneficiary for successful operation and implementation of public welfare programs. Programs should be organized at district, tehsil, district, gram panchayat, panchayat and village level. The need to continuously work towards river grid, connecting river to river for optimum use of water was stressed. Prime Minister Shri Modi praised, the ongoing activities in Madhya Pradesh for the River Linking Campaign.
District level vision documents
In the context of the discussion held in the NITI Aayog meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that along with creating an environment for investment, district level vision documents should be made by dividing the targets set for the state into districts and their implementation should be ensured. Efforts should be made for upgrading the skills of the youth and providing them employment opportunities. Converting poverty to zero line, increasing agricultural productivity, agricultural diversification, encouraging farmers’ market connectivity and increasing nature farming were also discussed in the NITI Aayog meeting.
Regular review of departments
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that ministers should regularly review the public welfare schemes and other works, targets and the current situation. Reviews should also be undertaken at the local level regarding law and order, good governance and innovations being made in the investment and industrial sector and measures to resolve the upcoming difficulties. He said that state government’s aim is to provide the benefits of development and public welfare activities to the people.
