Calls for increasing greening efforts in homes, villages, and cities

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai planted a Rudraksh sapling at Government High School Bagiya as part of the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign. He stated that saplings planted under this initiative would provide a new identity to the bonds of mother and birthplace. Chief Minister is on a Jashpur visit to participate in the state-level Shala Pravesh Utsav.
His wife Smt. Kaushalya Sai also planted a Rudraksh sapling. State Finance Minister and Minister in charge of Jashpur district Shri OP Choudhary planted an Amla sapling.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai stated, “The bond with mother is invaluable. Just as a mother gives us life and nurtures us, nature too sustains us. It is our duty to protect and promote it. We must all join the campaign initiated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and contribute to environmental conservation.”
During the event, he encouraged everyone to plant trees under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign and take a pledge to safeguard them. Chief Minister Sai urged, “Let us strive to make our homes, surroundings, villages, cities, and forests green by planting as many trees as possible this monsoon.”
Raigarh Lok Sabha constituency MP Shri Radheshyam Rathiya, Jashpur MLA Smt. Raymuni Bhagat, Pathalgaon MLA Smt. Gomati Sai, Arang MLA Guru Khushwant Saheb, and other public representatives were also present on the occasion.
