They aim to seek the blessings of Lord Shri Ram, affectionately known as ‘Bhancha Ram’ in Chhattisgarh.
Carrying sweet berries and holy water from the sacred shrine of Mata Shabri in Shivrinarayan, Chhattisgarh, as offerings, the Chief Minister and his cabinet set off in a special plane, chanting “Jai Shri Ram” as they departed.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that the entire cabinet is visiting Ayodhya to have darshan of their beloved Lord Shri Ram. “We will all pray to the Lord for the happiness and prosperity of the country and the state,” he stated.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai will offer Lord Shri Ram a variety of traditional delicacies from Chhattisgarh, including Vishnu Bhog rice, Sitaphal, specially prepared sweets, Airsa, and Curry Laddoo. Besides, clothes made of local Kosa fabric will be presented for the Lord’s attire.
Notably, the gift plate prepared by Chief Minister for Lord Shri Ram contains items that are related to the Ram Katha. Whether it be Mata Shabri’s berries, Vishnu Bhog rice, or Sitaphal, each item evokes the divine stay of the Lord in Chhattisgarh.
