Common citizens can easily find out their eligibility for drawing benefits of state government’s schemes using the “Patrata” App. It will now be easy to find out how and where to apply for benefits if eligible and what are the documents required to be furnished. With the use of this “Patrata” App’, there will no need to make frequent visits to concerning government offices for basic information relating to government schemes.
Individuals acting as middlemen, who falsely claim to ensure the benefits of government schemes will also be done away with. Currently, information on 37 schemes of 10 departments is included in the “Patrata” App. Soon, all departments’ schemes will be enlisted on the “Patrata” App and placed on the websites of all departments. Maximum schemes pertain to the Labour and Health Departments. Additionally, information is also available on JANMAN Awas.
Panchayat, Rural Development and Labour Minister Shri Prahlad Patel urged the labour welfare organizations, institutions, and Panchayat Raj Representatives to use the “Patrata” App as a reference resource to provide information to the people in their contact.
It is noteworthy to mention here that the “Patrata” App has been specially designed for the common citizens at the initiative of the Gwalior district administration. It is an Android-based application that can be easily downloaded from the Google Play Store. Citizens using it will be able to find out where to apply for benefits of schemes. Their application will reach the relevant department.
Despite the schemes available online at different platforms and web pages, they are not easily accessible. The concerned department also finds it difficult to maintain flow of information to potential beneficiaries. Consequently, the elderly and disabled also face difficulties. Taking advantage of such a situation, ill-designed individuals claim to provide benefits roam around. The use of the “Patrata” App will now eliminate such hurdles.
How to use “Patrata” App?
The “Patrata” App can be used with or without logging in. It can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. It provides information on eligibility to get benefits of schemes on furnishing 10-point basic information. It includes the address and email of the office related to the scheme, age, Adhar Card etc. Eligibility criteria and a list of requisite documents also appears. A brief description of the scheme’s benefits is also provided. The biggest advantage is that it provides a format for application. It includes the address of the concerning department, office address, name of the relevant officer, and official email of the office. Applications will reach the relevant office through it. After this, the concerned department will contact the applicants. Verification of their documents ascertaining their ability will be done.
The users of the “Patrata” App is rapidly increasing in villages. So far, 36,000 people have used it, and more than 15,000 have downloaded it. Users in their review have found the “Patrata” App extremely useful.
