Public Relations Department’s photo exhibition showcases Chhattisgarh’s role in freedom struggle

Chief Minister inaugurates exhibition, emphasizes educating future generations on Chhattisgarh’s revolutionary contributions to India’s Independence

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated a seven-day photo exhibition organized by the Public Relations Department at the Town Hall in Kachahri Chowk, Raipur, to commemorate the 78th Independence Day. This exhibition attractively displays the achievements of the state government and the memories of the great revolutionaries of Chhattisgarh who played a significant role in the Indian Independence Movement.

Chief Minister Shri Sai stressed the importance of educating future generations about the valuable contributions of Chhattisgarh’s revolutionaries to India’s struggle for independence. He commended the efforts of the Public Relations Department, noting that this photo exhibition will inspire the youth and encourage them to work positively for the country and society.

The exhibition showcases the contributions of Chhattisgarh’s revolutionaries in the freedom struggle, featuring important documents, their life journeys during the freedom movement, jungle satyagraha, the Quit India movement, and their roles in various freedom struggle related activities. Besides, the exhibition highlights welfare schemes run by the state government, including Mahtari Vandan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Shri Ramlala Darshan Yojana, Krishak Unnati Yojana, PM JANMAN Yojana, and Jandarshan. It also features a replica of the Shri Ramlala idol in Ayodhya. A documentary film showcasing the state government’s achievements is being screened as well.

The photo exhibition is open to the public at the Town Hall in Kachahri Chowk from August 15 to August 21, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Chief Minister’s Secretary Shri P. Dayanand, Dr. Basavaraju S., Public Relations Commissioner Shri Mayank Srivastava, Additional Directors Shri Umesh Mishra, Shri Sanjeev Tiwari, Shri Alok Dev, and other senior officers and employees of the Public Relations Department were also present.
