Priyanka Chopra’s ‘The Bluff’ wrap up party reminds her of ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’

Mumbai, Aug 3 (IANS) Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas has wrapped up her international project ‘The Bluff’.

On Saturday, the actress took to the Stories section of Instagram and dropped two videos in which she can be seen sitting in the car along with her mother Madhu Chopra and arriving for the film’s wrap-up party.

However, PC – as she is popularly known – arrived a bit late for the party, and joked about being late for the event as she played the song ‘Aaja Shaam Hone Aayee’ from the Salman Khan-starrer ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’.

The actress said that the lines from the song, “Aa jaa shaam hone aayi, mausam ne li angdaayi” fit perfectly well with her situation.

In the video, Priyanka’s mom can be seen lip-syncing to the track while Priyanka, who has earlier lent her voice to songs like ‘In My City’, ‘Ullathai Killathe’ from her debut film ‘Thamizhan’, sang the song treating her followers with her vocal prowess.

Earlier in the day, Priyanka lauded her husband, singer-songwriter Nick Jonas for his performance in the film ‘The Good Half’. She took to her Instagram and shared the trailer of the film and wrote in the caption: “Cannot wait for you all to experience this beautiful poignant, touching movie with incredible performances. I may or may not be slightly biased, but @nickjonas, you are phenomenal in this one. The Good Half coming to theatres near you on August 16 (sic).”

The film premiered on June 8, 2023, at the Tribeca Festival, and was released in the US on July 23, 2024.
