Nomination papers will be filed for the fourth phase from April 18

Voting will be held in eight Lok Sabha constituencies on May 13

Chief Electoral Officer Shri Anupam Rajan has told that Lok Sabha elections are to be held in 4 phases in Madhya Pradesh under Lok Sabha Elections – 2024.

Shri Rajan said that in the fourth phase, nomination papers will be filed in 8 Lok Sabha constituencies of Madhya Pradesh from April 18. He told that in the fourth phase, voting will be held in Lok Sabha constituencies number-21 Dewas (SC), number-22 Ujjain (SC), number-23 Mandsaur, number-24 Ratlam (ST), number-25 Dhar (ST), number-26 Indore , number – 27 Khargone (ST) and number- 28 Khandwa. Election notification for the fourth phase will be released on Thursday, April 18. Nomination papers will be filed by the candidates from this day itself. The last date for filing nomination papers is Thursday, April 25. The nomination papers will be scrutinized the next day on Friday, April 26. Candidates who have filed their nomination papers will be able to withdraw their names till Monday, April 29. Voting for the fourth phase will take place on Monday, May 13. Counting of votes in all phases will take place on Tuesday, June 4.
