Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Madhya Pradesh will launch four Missions Yuva Shakti Mission, Garib Kalyan Mission,Nari Sashaktikaran Mission, Kisan Kalyan Mission. These Missions will start from November 1, the foundation day of Madhya Pradesh. The Chief Minister announced this while addressing the Independence Day function at Bhopal today. Dr. Yadav observed the parade after hoisting the flag took salute of ceremonial parade. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav honored police officers and personnel for excellent service, commendable service and bravery at the medal decoration ceremony.

Dr. Yadav extended hearty congratulations and best wishes to the people on the 78th Independence Day. He remembered the heroes, patriots and freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of India. He said that government is committed to making the administration people-oriented, citizens should become partners in development and social harmony. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the country is moving rapidly towards becoming the third largest economy by completing the journey of becoming the fifth economy of the world. Madhya Pradesh is committed to contributing to the accomplishment of the resolutions of Prime Minister Shri Modi.

Capital expenditure increased by 29 percent

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the government is working towards doubling the budget of Madhya Pradesh in the next five years. In the financial year 2023-24, capital expenditure was Rs 60 thousand 689 crore. This is about 29 percent increase compared to the year 2022-23. The target of capital expenditure for the financial year 2024-25 has been set at Rs 64 thousand 738 crore.

Special provisions for AI, machine learning and coding

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the youth should not be limited to traditional education only, but also have to get education in new technologies like AI, machine learning and coding. For this, an investment of Rs 485 crore has been made in higher education. One college each in 55 districts of the state has been converted into PM College of Excellence. The state government has given priority to skill development. Under the Mukhya Mantri Seekho-Kamao Yojana, a stipend of Rs 6 crore 60 lakh has been provided to 8 thousand trainees. Incubation centers have been set up in major schools to promote innovation and entrepreneurship. More than 60 new industrial units are being set up in the state at a cost of Rs 10 thousand crore. More than 17 thousand employment opportunities will be created in this. CM Dr. Yadav said that work has been done rapidly to fill the vacant posts of government jobs. In the last 8 months, more than 11 thousand appointment letters have been issued in government jobs.

More than 1 crore 67 lakh registered unorganised workers covered under Sambal Yojana

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that more than 1 crore 67 lakh registered unorganised workers in the state are getting benefit of Mukhya Mantri Jan-Kalyan Sambal Yojana. For this, a provision of Rs 600 crore has been made this year. In the second phase of the scheme, more than Rs 670 crore ex-gratia assistance was transferred to more than 30 thousand 500 worker families. The state government paid an amount of Rs 224 crore to 4 thousand 800 worker families of Indore’s Hukumchand Mill. 7 lakh 50 thousand beneficiaries of the state have been benefited under Pradhan Mantri Shahri Awas Yojana (PM Urban Housing Scheme). About 7 lakh houses have been constructed in rural areas under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Free food grains are being provided to 117 lakh eligible families every month.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government has given assistance for marriage to 62 thousand 583 girls in the year 2023-24 under the Mukhya Mantri Kanya Vivah and Nikah Sahayata Yojana. Under the Ladli Behna Yojana, an amount of more than Rs 12 thousand crore has been transferred to the accounts of one crore 29 lakh sisters in the last eight months. This year, an additional amount of Rs 250 has been released in the account of every Ladli Behna on Rakshabandhan. Economic development of women is being promoted by strengthening women self-help groups. The state ranks first in the Pradhan Mantri Matru-Vandana Yojana in the country. Under this scheme, an amount of Rs 1 thousand 150 crore was given to 41 lakh 70 thousand sisters from 2017 to 2024. About 90 lakh sisters of the state have been given Ujjwala gas connections. An amount of Rs 118 crore was transferred to the accounts of 45 lakh 89 thousand sisters of the state for refilling gas cylinders for Rs 450. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the ratio of men to women is improving in the state. This ratio has increased from 927 women per thousand men to 956.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a provision of Rs 40 thousand 804 crore has been made in this financial year for the overall development and welfare of the tribal class, which is 23.4 percent more than the previous budget. The honorarium of tendu leaf collectors has been increased from Rs 3 thousand per sack to Rs 4 thousand. About 35 lakh collectors are getting direct benefit of this. Mitra Helpline has been started for resolving the problems of the students of hostels and for guidance. Along with this, computer education is also being provided to the students in the hostels. He said that it is our resolve to take every poor and weak person towards prosperity and security. Work is also being done promptly for the effective implementation of the schemes.

Target to increase irrigation capacity to 1 crore hectare by 2028-29

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi and Chief Minister Kisan Kalyan Yojana, so far Rs 1 thousand 643 crore has been transferred to the accounts of more than 80 lakh farmer brothers. The government has also taken several steps to improve the procurement of crops and the system of Mandis. A policy has been prepared to work in partnership with agriculture graduate youth for soil testing. Rapid work is being done towards value addition of agricultural produce at the local level by developing a network of agricultural processing industries. Under the Rani Durgavati Srianna Protsahan Yojana implemented to promote Srianna production, farmers are being given a special incentive amount of Rs 1 thousand per quintal. The process of making 10 nurseries hi-tech is going on at the divisional level. Credit cards have been provided to 40 lakh farmers of the state. The target is to increase the irrigation capacity to 1 crore hectare in the state by the year 2028-29. Work is also being done on the Ken-Betwa Link Project and Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal Link Project. Also, a provision of Rs 150 crore has been made in the Chief Minister Co-operative Milk Producer Incentive Scheme in 2024-25 to free the cattle farmers from the exploitation of middlemen. Gau-Vansh Raksha Year is being celebrated in the state from Chaitra month to next year.

Renewable energy increased to 6 thousand 444 Mega Watt

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the available power capacity of the state is 22 thousand 823 Mega Watt. Electricity is being supplied to non-agricultural consumers for about 24 hours and to agricultural consumers for about 10 hours per day. Consumers are being given benefits under Atal Krishi Jyoti and Atal Griha Jyoti Yojana. The renewable energy capacity of the state has increased to 6 thousand 444 Mega Watt. More than 71 lakh rural families of the state have been provided water supply facility at home under Jal Jeevan Mission.

31 new industrial areas to be developed in 9 thousand 800 acres

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a series of Regional Industry Conclaves has been started as a concrete initiative for the industrial development of the state. 9 thousand 800 acres of land is being provided to 31 new industrial areas in the state. Initiatives have been taken for the development of Medical Device Park in Ujjain, Mega Leather Park in Morena, PM Mitra Integrated Mega Textile Park in Dhar along with Multi Model Logistic Park in the state. In future, diamond cutting work will also be done in the state. Sand made from stone is being promoted by reducing the dependence on natural sand from rivers.

Amount of Rs 450 crore provided to 61 thousand 629 meritorious students

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that to make the quality and system of education well-equipped and robust, 416 schools are operating in the state under PM Shri Yojana. Also, 275 CM Rise schools are being operated in the first phase. Madhya Pradesh has surpassed the national average in the gross enrollment ratio of higher education. In accordance with Indian culture, the post of Vice Chancellor of the University has now been named Kulguru. Madhya Pradesh has also been a pioneer in the implementation of the new national policy. This year, an amount of Rs 450 crore has been provided to 61 thousand 629 meritorious students under the Chief Minister Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana.

AYUSH wing in every district hospital

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that there is a plan to fill about 25 thousand posts in the next two years to improve the medical system in the state. Arrangements are being made for testing in all tribal dominated districts to prevent and protect against sickle cell anaemia in the state. AYUSH wing is being built in every district hospital. Jan Arogya Kendras are being started by Red Cross in every district hospital in the state on 17 September on the birthday of Prime Minister Shri Modi.

Shri Krishna Pathey Yojana in progress

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that by starting PM Shri Tourism Air Service, 8 cities of the state, Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Rewa, Ujjain, Gwalior, Singrauli and Khajuraho have been connected with air service. Operation of PM Shri Religious Tourism Heli Service has also been started. Work on making an action plan for Shri Krishna Pathey Yojana for the development of all the places in the state where Lord Krishna’s lotus feet had touched is in progress. Many works are being done at places like Chitrakoot, Panna, Satna, Amarkantak etc. for the development of Shri Ram Van Gaman Path. The contribution of the protectors of Indian civilization will be preserved by establishing Veer Bharat Museum. This year, the 500th birth anniversary celebration of Veerangana Rani Durgavati and the 300th birth anniversary celebration of Devi Ahilya Bai will be celebrated with great pomp in the entire state through various cultural activities. Pilgrimage by airplane has started this year under the Mukhya Mantri Teerth Darshan Yojana.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that e-Sampada 2.0 software is being implemented in the state from August 15, through which the registry will be done through a completely digital process. Better civic facilities are being provided in the cities of the state. Metropolitan cities will be built in Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior and Jabalpur. To strengthen the law and order situation, the historic work of redrawing the boundaries of police stations in the state has been done. The boundaries of 627 police stations in the state have been re-defined. This has benefited 2 thousand 200 villages. For the purpose of good governance, a new system of vehicle checking has been implemented in place of transport check posts. Now the state government will also start driver training centres at divisional and district levels. Under the Public Service Guarantee Act, citizens are getting the benefit of 741 notified services within the time limit. Under this system, more than 10 crore applications have been resolved so far.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the anniversary of Independence Day is a day to become firmly resolved to provide the fruits of independence to the citizens in the true sense. Madhya Pradesh has taken rapid steps in the journey of progress and development in the past years, we now have to continue this journey. The progress and prosperity of the people of the state has to be made an example in front of the country and the world. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav wished that Madhya Pradesh becomes prosperous, literate and empowered and that our state, an island of peace, becomes the foremost.
