Man seeks Akshay Kumar’s help for broken toilet, superstar assures he will speak with BMC

Mumbai, Nov 20 (IANS) Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, who was recently seen in the Diwali release ‘Singham Again’, was enquired about a broken public toilet by a man. The actor had donated the said toilet a few years ago.

Akshay was seen coming out of the polling station on Wednesday after casting his vote for the Maharashtra Assembly Elections.

As he walked towards his car after interacting with the media, he was called by an aged man, who walked up to him and started talking to him in Hindi.

The man asked the superstar to help with some resources to which the actor said that he will speak with the BMC, and get things done.

Meanwhile, Akshay was one of the early voters to exercise his right to vote. The actor arrived early in the morning at the polling booth in the Juhu area of Mumbai on Wednesday.

The polling for Maharashtra Assembly elections is currently underway across 288 constituencies in the state. This time around, 4136 candidates are contesting elections across 288 constituencies in Maharashtra, the state with the highest GDP per capita, and by virtue of it, the highest economy.

The fight is intense with alliances from both sides locking horns with each other. While Uddhav Bal Thackeray’s Shiv Sena has joined forces with Indian National Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party led by Sharad Pawar to form Maha Vikas Aghadi, the other side has BJP forming an alliances with Eknath Shinde branching out of the original Shiv Sena (retaining the party symbol) and the Nationalist Congress Party led by Ajit Pawar, who branched out of his uncle’s original NCP for Mahayuti, the ruling alliance.
