Machines Used Illegally in Sand Mining to Be Confiscated Immediately – CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized that sand mining in the state must adhere to regulations, and machines used illegally for mining should be confiscated immediately. He issued these directives during a high-level meeting at the Mantralaya. Dr. Yadav was reviewing the implementation of decisions from the divisional-level review meeting. Chief Secretary Smt. Veera Rana, Additional Secretary General Administration Shri Vinod Kumar, and officials Shri J.N Kansotiya, Shri Rajesh Rajoura, Shri Manu Srivastava, Shri Ajit Kesari, Shri Malay Srivastava, and Shri K.C. Gupta were present at the meeting. Dr. Yadav also instructed that regional investor summits should be organized every four months. Following the summit in Ujjain, he apprised himself about the preparations for the upcoming Investor Summit in Jabalpur. He further directed that divisional-level booklets be published to highlight development projects and public welfare activities resulting from divisional meetings. The implementation of decisions from meetings in the Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Narmadapuram, Rewa, and Ujjain divisions was discussed.

Re-defining District and Division Boundaries will Provide Relief to Citizens and Accelerate Development

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that to alleviate challenges faced by the common man, to accelerate state’s development process, to reduce issues affecting citizens and enhancing administrative and departmental efficiency redrawing the boundaries of tehsils, development blocks, districts, and divisions has to be done. Public sentiments and input from public representatives should be integral to this process. Additionally, connecting remote villages to the nearest district headquarters, ensuring co-ordination between the Police Commissionerate and District Collector, and considering the implementation of a metropolitan system in major cities are crucial aspects to be included in this initiative.

Stadiums should be developed in every district

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav emphasized the importance of completing the ongoing railway projects in the state within the stipulated time frame. He urged state government departments to provide all possible support to the Railways to achieve this goal. Additionally, he called for the preparation of proposals for developing new rail routes within the state. Dr. Yadav also instructed to devise an action plan for a new expressway, aimed at connecting remote areas with major cities and reducing travel distances to facilitate rapid development.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that there is a need for adjustment of colleges in the state. Colleges should be run only where there is demand and sufficient students are available. Vehicle facilities can be provided to the students of the surrounding area to travel to and from the college. He also instructed to develop small stadiums in every district. Dr. Yadav said that these stadiums can also be used as helipads if required.

Land bank is being built for the Varanasi-Mumbai corridor

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was informed about the progress of the construction of Shivpuri Medical College, the creation of land banks in the respective districts for the Varanasi-Mumbai corridor emerging from the state, and efforts being made to maintain the crop cycle to safeguard the fertility of the land. He sought information about the action taken regarding the public awareness campaign.

Logistics Hub and Wonder Entertainment Park will be developed between Ujjain and Indore

It was informed in the meeting that divisional level meetings have helped in developing better co-ordination between public representatives and officials at tehsil and district level. Land has been identified for the logistics hub and Wonder Entertainment Park to be developed between Ujjain and Indore. Shivpuri’s sewer line has been approved. Through the divisional meetings information was given about the development works and public welfare activities done within the time limit in the districts, including the solution to the drinking water problem of Guna Ring Road, Ashok Nagar.

In the meeting were Principal Secretary Home Shri Sanjay Dubey, Principal Secretary Urban Development and Housing Shri Neeraj Mandloi, Principal Secretary General Administration Shri Manish Rastogi, Principal Secretary Public Works Shri DP Ahuja, Principal Secretary Finance Shri Manish Singh, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Shri Raghavendra Kumar Singh, Chief Secretary Tribal Affairs Department Dr. E. Ramesh Kumar, and other officers were present.
