Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav highlighted that the world is swiftly transitioning to a knowledge-based economy. While petrol was central to the Industrial Revolution, knowledge is now the foundation of the 21st-century economy. India’s rich historical knowledge system made it a target for invaders who sought to dismantle its centers of learning. Under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership, India is embracing its knowledge heritage to emerge as a global leader. The country is placing significant emphasis on advancing science education, research, and innovation.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav emphasized that Madhya Pradesh boasts several nationally significant academic institutions, including IIT, IIM, ISER, Triple IT, NIT, and IIFM. The establishment of the National Forensic Science University campus in Bhopal further underscores its national importance. The presence of the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (ISER) in Bhopal is a point of pride for the state. In addition to advancing higher education and skill development, the state government is also fostering private sector involvement. The newly launched PM College of Excellence is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing higher education in the state. Dr. Yadav shared these insights during the inauguration of the 11th convocation of ISER Bhopal.

Youth Should Leverage Education and Training for the Benefit of the Nation and Society

The country is offering top-tier education to its youth through institutions like the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (ISER). Earning a degree from such prestigious centers is a significant achievement and helps to establish a strong identity for young talents in society. Dr. Yadav emphasized that the youth should fully utilize their education and training for the benefit of both the nation and society. Madhya Pradesh is making steady progress in knowledge and science to align with national objectives. Six Global Skill Parks are being developed to prepare the state’s youth for the industry, and a new science popularization program has been launched in collaboration with IIT Gandhinagar. Additionally, a satellite town has been established in Ujjain with the support of IIT Indore. Under Prime Minister Shri Modi’s leadership, the country is advancing steadily towards becoming a developed nation.
