Governor inaugurates online leave management system
Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel inaugurated the online university leave management system at Raj Bhavan. He launched the Vice Chancellor’s Leave Management System Software by pressing the remote button. Governor Shri Patel said innovations should be pursued continuously to ensure that the arrangements are effective and seamless. He pointed out the need to use technology as much as possible to make administrative arrangements transparent and accurate. Governor Shri Patel also discussed online with the Vice Chancellors of the universities and apprised himself regarding the operation and facilities of the software.
Principal Secretary to the Governor Shri Mukesh Chand Gupta said that the leave management system is an important tool for effective and professional operation of administrative arrangements. He informed that the use of leave management system will reduce paperwork significantly. Time spent in administrative arrangements will be saved. The leave arrangements will be managed with simplicity, transparency and precision. Shri Gupta informed that the details of the remaining leave in the system will keep getting updated automatically. Real time information and updates will be available continuously on the dashboard. Status of total applications for leave, approved applications, pending applications, rejected applications, applications sent back to Principal Secretary and applications sent back to Kul Guru/Vice Chancellor will be available on a single click on the dashboard. He informed that the work of software development was carried out by Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation Limited under the guidance of Raj Bhavan IT Cell.
Additional Secretary to Governor Shri Umashankar Bhargava, Law Officer Shri Umesh Kumar Srivastava, Incharge of Raj Bhavan IT Cell Shri Jitendra Parashar, Joint Director Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation Limited Dr. Dharmendra Koshta, Project Manager Shri Krishna Gopal Tripathi and other officers were present. Vice Chancellors of universities of the state participated online in the inauguration programme.
