Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the Indian Language Festival is a wonderful opportunity to save and promote our rich language and cultural heritage. Appreciating the activities conducted by Madhavrao Sapre Museum, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav announced to increase the grant being given by the state government to the museum from of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the gathering at the launch of the Indian Language Festival organized by Madhavrao Sapre Smriti Newspaper Museum.

Sapre Museum reference book and Language Satyagraha booklets released

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was welcomed and presented with a shawl, books and a replica of a pen at Sapre Museum. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav released the Sapre Museum reference book and Language Satyagraha booklet. He honored Shri Ashish Agrawal for his special cooperation in the Sapre Museum. Dr. Narendra Dutt Gargava was honored for his contribution to Pandit Rameshwar Das Gargava Memorial e-Library and Dr. Jayaprakash Shukla for his cooperation in Krishna Gopal Vyas Science Communication Division. Dr. Veena Sinha and Dr. Hemant Singh were also honored on this occasion. The program was presided over by School Education Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh.

Apart from languages, dialects also have special importance

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that along with languages, dialects also have special importance in Indian culture. The characteristics of dialects are also related to regional history. While Bundeli is full of bravery and valor, the Malvi dialect has its depth. It was influenced by local conditions, but the Malvi dialect maintained its identity always. Hindi is continuously enriching itself by incorporating many languages ​​and dialects. Hindi has attained its present form after traveling a historical journey of almost a thousand years. During this historical period, many non-Hindi-speaking great persons also supported Hindi. Literateur Madhavrao Sapre also played an important role in this.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has made special provisions in the National Education Policy to encourage all languages. Libraries have been established in the PM Excellence Colleges being developed in the state, in which books on all subjects are being made available.

School Education Minister Shri Uday Pratap Singh said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, various activities are being conducted to promote Sanskrit and regional languages ​​in the state. The state has been a leader in the country in implementing the National Education Policy.
