Chandigarh, JULY 16, 2024: Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, today announced the signing of its fifth Ginger branded hotel in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region of Thane, Maharashtra. This greenfield project embodies Ginger’s lean luxe design philosophy, offering guests the perfect blend of work and leisure in vibrant, contemporary spaces.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said, “The signing of our fifth Ginger hotel in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) in Thane aligns with IHCL’s strategic vision of expanding its presence in key urban centres in India. Thane with its rapid development has emerged as a residential and commercial hub in Maharashtra. We are delighted to collaborate with Jagdale Infrastructure Private Limited for this new hotel.”
The 200-key Ginger Thane is located in the heart of the business district in close proximity to retail centres. The hotel features Qmin, the signature all-day diner presenting a delightful array of global and local favorites along with a bar. Additionally, it will offer modern amenities such as a state-of-the-art fitness centre along with over 2000 sq. ft banquet hall and well-equipped meeting rooms.
