Chief Electoral Officer Shri Rajan seeks information from sector officers
How many polling booths did you inspect? Where are you now? Why is your car standing since half an hour? Chief Electoral Officer Shri Anupam Rajan sought information from the State Control Room in a direct talk with the Sector Officers. He said that sector officers should continuously visit polling booths and take stock of the arrangements.
Shri Rajan spoke to sector officers of various assembly constituencies including Katni, Narsinghpur, Chhatarpur and Narmadapuram districts. Sector Officer of Narsinghpur Assembly Constituency Shri Puneet said that he had visited 5 polling stations. Voters were standing in queue at polling stations. Voting is going on peacefully. He observed the ongoing voting process in various polling stations through webcam and gave necessary instructions to the concerned district election officers.
Meanwhile, Joint Chief Electoral Officer Shri Tarun Rathi, Deputy Chief Electoral Officer Smt. Surbhi Tiwari and other officers were present.
