On Sunday, Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection Minister Shri Govind Singh Rajput honored 85 elderly residents at the Aasra Old Age Home in the capital. The event, held in memory of his late mother, Smt. Gyanbai Singh, saw Shri Rajput distributing shawls and shrifal to the elderly. He took the time to inquire about their well-being and listened to their concerns. The elderly residents, touched by his care and attention, blessed Shri Rajput and expressed their affection. During the visit, they mentioned difficulties in obtaining Ayushman cards. In response, Minister Rajput directed officials to expedite and simplify the card issuance process. He assured the residents that they could reach out to him directly or through intermediaries if they faced any issues, promising prompt resolution of their problems.
Planted a sapling in the name of mother
Under the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign, Minister Shri Rajput also planted a sapling in Aasra Old Age Home on the death anniversary of his mother Late Smt. Gyanbai Singh. During this, officials and other public representatives were present.
