Despite all the speculations, no scheme has been stopped by the state government. Adequate financial resources are available with the state government to meet all the requirements of revenue and capital expenditure. The meeting of the Council of Ministers under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav started with the recitation of Vande Mataram in the Mantralaya.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expected that departments responsible for revenue collection would showcase their success by attaining cent percent of this year’s financial target, as well as meeting the target for the first quarter. So far in the month of March, a decline in expenditure is being reflected in capital works. He said that expenditure should be ensured as per the target before March 31. Adequate financial liquidity is available, departments should review daily to ensure achievement of target. Especially the targets of Water Resources, NVDA, Public Works, Public Health Engineering, Urban Development and Housing and Panchayat and Rural Development Departments should be ensured. Dr. Mohan Yadav said that there will be no shortage of financial resources during this period, this will require intensive monitoring to speed up the works and take them to completion. With this, the performance of the government will be revealed to the public and the departments will also build their own reputation. The state government has come to this position as a result of effective financial management, all departments deserve congratulations for this achievement.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that air service is being launched in the state to provide inter-state air facility. This service will start from today for Gwalior and Jabalpur, which will be expanded to Sagar, Rewa, Ratlam and other places. Wherever there is availability of airstrip and passengers, this facility will start soon. This is also the need of the hour.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that air service is being started to facilitate and encourage religious tourism. Initially, air facility will be provided to Ujjain and Omkareshwar by making Indore as the centre. Both the air services have been named PM Shri after the esteemed Prime Minister. This will boost religious tourism as well as increase connectivity with big cities. CM Dr. Yadav greeted and extended good wishes for these achievements of the state government in the period of 100 days. The members of the Cabinet greeted CM Dr. Mohan Yadav by thumping the tables.
