Governor attends Kalavyom Foundation event
Governor Mangubhai Patel emphasized the importance of youth engaging with the thoughts and literature of Swami Vivekananda, urging them to learn about self-improvement and nation-building from his teachings. He encouraged every citizen to reflect on their actions in light of Swamiji’s hopes and expectations, contributing positively to the national interest. The Governor made these remarks during the event titled “Developed India under the Vision of Swami Vivekananda,” organized by the Shri Patel Kalavyom Foundation. He praised the Foundation for its efforts in preserving and promoting art, culture, and skill development.
Governor Mangubhai Patel asserted that we all share a vital responsibility toward our nation. He encouraged the youth to draw inspiration from the life and teachings of Swamiji, urging them to embrace his ideals and challenges in their quest to contribute meaningfully to the creation of a developed India. He called upon young people to channel their energy and potential towards uplifting the poor, underprivileged, and needy, emphasizing the importance of service and compassion in nation-building.
Governor Mangubhai Patel remarked that during his time in America, Swami Vivekananda told reporters that while this century belongs to the West, the 21st century will be India’s. He highlighted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, we are in a pivotal moment to fulfill Swamiji’s vision of a developed India. He called upon everyone to commit the next 25 years to establish a robust foundation for a prosperous nation. Additionally, he urged the Foundation to persist in its efforts to promote and spread the teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
Governor congratulated Shri Mangubhai Patel by presenting him a shawl, shripal and a memento at the event. In the program, Padmashri Shri Kaluram Bamaniya gave presentations based on the verses of Kabir. Dr. Amod Kumar Gupta delivered the welcome address on behalf of Kalavyom Foundation. Air Marshal Shri Ajit Bhosale and Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Kozhikode Math, Swami Narasimha spoke on Swamiji’s philosophy of life and his vision of a developed India as the key speakers. Ms. Pragati Gupta expressed her gratitude. Ms. Aparna Bhosale, Secretary, Kalavyom Foundation, Dr. Ravindra Suhane, Thinker and Thinker, members of the Foundation and Sudhi Jan were present at the event.
