Massive Gathering Greets Chief Minister Upon Arrival in Chhindwara City
Various organisations and city residents including the sisters of Aajeevika Mission accord a grand welcome to CM Dr. Yadav with a shower of flowers
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav on Friday arrived in Chhindwara to partake in the activities of the Jal-Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan. Prior to launching the awareness yatra at Satkar Tiraha in Chhindwara city, Dr. Yadav paid homage to the statue of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar situated at the trisection with a garland. Chhindwara MP Shri Vivek Sahu also honored the statue of Baba Saheb during this ceremony. Following this, Dr. Yadav led the public awareness yatra of the Jal-Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan, which commenced from Satkar Tiraha and concluded at the public meeting venue, Pola Ground.
In the awareness yatra, people were also made aware through songs related to the campaign. During the arrival of Rath Yatra in Chhindwara city, from Satkar Tiraha to Jail Tiraha via Fawwara Chowk to the public meeting venue Pola Ground, public representatives, dignitaries, city dwellers as well as various organisations attended in large numbers and showered flowers on Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and accorded him a grand and warm welcome. These organisations included Aajeevika Mission’s Didis, Asha, Usha and other employees of the Health Department, Ladli Bahnas, Anganwadi workers, Sports Association, fruit and flower traders, Medical, Guest Teachers Association, Rotary Club, Vyapari Mandal, Secretary, GRS, Panchayat Karmi Sangh, students, CM Fellows, beneficiaries of PESA Act, MP Patwari Sangh, Revenue Inspectors Association, Kotwar Sangh, Officers, Employees Association, Pensioners Society, Municipal Corporation Association, all teachers’ organisations and other organisations. On one hand, where various organiszations, city dwellers and public representatives showered flowers and petals on Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and welcomed him enthusiastically, CM Dr. Yadav was also overwhelmed by the affection of the people of the district and showered flowers on them and warmly greeted them with both hands.
Chhindwara MP Shri Vivek Sahu, former minister Shri Deepak Saxena and Shri Nana Bhau Mohod, Mayor Shri Vikram Ahke and Shri Sheshrao Yadav were also with Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. Collector Shri Sheelendra Singh, SP Shri Manish Khatri, CEO District Panchayat Shri Parth Jaiswal and officers of district and police administration were also present on this occasion.
