Divyang Ku. Santoshi Sahu finds relief with prompt government assistance

Receives Aadhar, UDID, ration cards, free bus travel pass, and wheelchair

Expresses gratitude toward Chief Minister for support

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai’s government is taking decisive steps to assist economically weaker sections and Divyangs. Under his leadership, immediate support including ration cards, wheelchairs, and access to government schemes is being swiftly provided to them, reflecting a commitment to inclusive governance.

Ku. Santoshi Sahu, a resident of Kopra Nagar Panchayat in Gariaband district, who has a congenital orthopedic impairment affecting her bones, expressed her joy after receiving prompt assistance for her concerns. She extended her gratitude to the Chief Minister.

Ku. Santoshi experienced difficulties while attempting to obtain an Aadhar card at an Aadhar Center and faced repeated rejections during the registration process because of her dwarfism. Frustrated by these challenges, she and her parents approached the district office, where the collector promptly intervened upon hearing her issue. The collector immediately instructed the department concerned to resolve her problem.

Recognizing her plight, officials facilitated the issuance of an Aadhar card, a medical certificate, a UDID card, a ration card, a free bus travel pass, and a wheelchair. These provisions now enable her to benefit from various government schemes, ensuring monthly ration supplies and facilitating her mobility using the wheelchair. Besides, the district administration issued a free bus pass to assist with her transportation. Ku. Santoshi expressed immense happiness upon receiving the benefits of several Chhattisgarh government-run schemes.
