Campaign will go on from 05 June ‘Environment Day’ to 16 June ‘Ganga Dussehra’
Activities will be conducted to clean water sources and boost water awareness
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav urged the people of the state to actively participate in the ‘Namami Gange Abhiyan’ set to commence from June 5 ‘Environment Day’ to June 16 ‘Ganga Dussehra’ to create awareness about environmental protection and water conservation in the state. He stated that trees and water are the foundation of earth’s richness and life. Various programme focusing on wather conservation will be organized as a part of the campaign. Activities will be conducted to boost water awareness among the people by cleaning rivers, ponds, wells, step-wells with public participation. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that we should be a part of activities conducted to spread water awareness by Madhya Pradesh government. CM Dr. Yadav made this appeal to the people of the state through social media.
