CM Dr. Yadav greets Urban Development and Housing Department

State performed well in PM Street Vendor and Antyodaya Yojana

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and members of the Council of Ministers have congratulated the Urban Development and Housing Department on being awarded at the national level for the excellent implementation of PM Street Vendor Atma-Nirbhar Nidhi Yojana and Deendayal Antyodaya Scheme.

It is noteworthy that under the PM Street Vendor Atma-Nirbhar Nidhi Yojana, working capital loan, interest subsidy assistance is provided to the selected beneficiaries by the Central Government and additional remaining interest is provided by the State Government. Under this scheme, Madhya Pradesh has been at the forefront in the country by distributing Rs 1736 crore in 11 lakh 95 thousand loan cases. At the same time, for the upliftment of the urban poor, means of livelihood are provided to them through self-employment, skill training, social security and institutional development in the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana. Under this scheme, more than 60 thousand self-help groups have been formed and over 32 thousand groups have been provided with a recurring fund of Rs 320 crore. More than 20 thousand self-help groups in the state were provided loans at low interest rates.

Recently, PM Swanidhi Yojana was awarded the Price Award and Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana was awarded the Spark Award in New Delhi.
