CM inaugurates Revenue Campaign 2.0 and Patwari e-Diary digitally
Local youth to conduct a digital crop survey
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the Guru-Shishya tradition has been an integral part of India’s culture. In order to maintain the glorious tradition, the post of Vice Chancellors in the universities have been named Kulguru. The festival of Guru Purnima on July 21 will be celebrated with devotion. All ministers should participate in the programs to be held in their respective constituencies.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the ministers before the meeting of the Council of Ministers at Mantralaya today. He also digitally launched the Revenue Campaign 2.0 and Patwari e-Diary.
Deputy Chief Minister duo Shri Jagdish Devada, Shri Rajendra Shukla, Tribal Affairs Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah, Urban Development and Housing Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, and Revenue Minister Shri Karan Singh Verma were present.
It may be noted that the campaign meant for providing quick and easy services in the interest of land owners, will continue till August 31. The meeting of the State Cabinet under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav started with Vande Mataram in Mantralaya.
Five Gurus
Elenborating the importance of Guru Purnima, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that everyone has five Gurus. The first the Mother, the second is Father, third is the Teacher, the fourth is the spiritual Guru and the fifth Guru is the Mirror. The mirror reflects the truth. The mirror is neither friend nor foe. It is reflection the real and the truth. Madhya Pradesh has rich Guru-Shishya tradition. The Lord Shri Krishna got his Guru Sandipani in Ujjain. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav urged the Cabinet members to ensure that Guru Purnima is celebrated with enthusiasm.
Nomination transfer to take place only with enrollment
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Revenue Campaign 2.0 will be conducted from July 18 to August 31. The campaign will ensure quick disposal of pending cases of the Revenue Court, correction of land records, and refinement of records. He said that the system of nomination transfer is being started along with enrollment. Madhya Pradesh is the leader in the country in implementing this system, the Central has also appreciated this initiative.
Local youth to get employment
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the process of digital crop survey is also being started. In this, only local youth aged 18 to 40 years who have passed out of 8th class will be assigned the task of surveying crops through mobile. For this, training will also be provided to them. They will be paid at the rate of Rs 8 per crop, per survey number. A maximum of one thousand survey numbers can be allotted to a youth. They will have to survey both the Kharif and Rabi crops. Digital crop surveys will help in the accurate identification of crops, and savings in procurement, and will also employ local youth. The system will be implemented by a committee formed under the chairmanship of the District Collector.
Patwari e-diary to increase transparency and accountability
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the system of Patwari e-diary is being started. This will help in the quick disposal of revenue cases with accuracy. Under this system, a daily diary will be maintained by Patwaris in digital format. Patwari will have to take photos without which, he will not be able to upload daily activities. With this, the actual spot of Patwari’s presence will also be known. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Patwari’s e-diary will not only ensure the presence of Patwaris at their workplace but will also increase transparency and accountability of the work done by them.
MP stands first in country in PM Street Vendor Scheme
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the PM Street Vendor Scheme, the state is getting the first prize by the Central Government for successfully distributing Rs 1,736 crore in 11 lakh 95 thousand loan cases. Recurring funds of more than Rs 320 crore have been made available to more than 32 thousand self-help groups and loans at low interest rates have been provided to 20 thousand self-help groups under the NULN scheme, by forming more than 60 thousand self-help groups. Madhya Pradesh is first in the country in this scheme also.
