Members of All India Ex-Servicemen Service Council, Chhattisgarh today paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and invited him to attend the program they are organizing on the occasion of ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’. Chief Minister thanked the council members for the invitation and appreciated their initiative. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma was also present on this occasion.
The delegation of the council members informed Chief Minister that on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, the council pays tribute to the martyred soldiers who sacrificed everything for the motherland. Also, the families of the martyred soldiers are felicitated.
About the activities of the council, the delegration informed Chief Minister that they are providing training to the youth in 16 districts of the state, encouraging them to join the army for national service. Former Kargil soldiers Shri Khemchand Nishad, Shri Dinalal Sahu, Shri Rohit Kumar, Shri Rupendra Sahu and Shri Vijay Kumar Daga were present on this occasion.
