Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai paid his profound respects and tribute to Swami Vivekananda, a pathbreaking figure and an inspiration for the youth, on his death anniversary, at his Residence Office. On the occasion, Shri Sai said that Swami Vivekananda introduced the world to Indian philosophy and spirituality. He showed the world the path for the welfare of humanity. Chhattisgarh has embraced Swami Vivekananda’s generous, practical, and reformist principles. It is a matter of pride for Chhattisgarh that Swami Vivekananda spent part of his childhood in Raipur. Today, Chhattisgarh is progressing by following the path and principles shown by Swami Vivekananda.
It is noteworthy that Swami Vivekananda represented India at the World’s Parliament of Religions held in Chicago in 1893. He founded the Ramakrishna Mission and was a disciple of the great saint Shri Ramakrishna Paramhansa.
