Ujjain Regional Industry Conclave on 1st and 2nd March
More than 3200 units registered in buyer-seller meet
30 foreign delegates to participate as well
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is set to inaugurate the Regional Industry Conclave, Vikramotsav, and Vikram Trade Fair in Ujjain on March 1. The main event will take place at the Kalidas Academy in Ujjain district, starting at 10:30 a.m. During the ceremony, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will also distribute funds to the Ladli Behnas as part of the Ladli Behna Yojana. The Regional Industry Conclave is scheduled to be held at the Engineering College, Ujjain, on March 1st and 2nd. This initiative spans across 20 districts of the state, including Bhopal, Ujjain, and Indore. These 56 projects are expected to attract investments exceeding Rs. 74,000 crore, creating employment opportunities for over 17,000 individuals.
At present, investment proposals totaling Rs. 74,711 crore have been agreed upon by 35 companies participating in the Industry Conclave. This figure is expected to rise further during the conclave. Over 800 investors are slated to attend the event, with 30 foreign delegates also joining. Rather than solely targeting Major industrialists for MOU signings, the government is emphasizing the actualization of as many projects as possible. Accordingly, priority is being given to companies and individual investors prepared to invest immediately.
The conclave is focusing on buyer-seller meet to promote exports. So far, more than 3200 units have registered in the buyer-seller meet. This will help the state’s producers, agricultural goods, handlooms, and handicrafts gain access into the global market.
Chief Minister to Engage in Direct Dialougues with Investors
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will engage in one-on-one discussions with investors, allowing them to directly share their perspectives with him. Additionally, five sectoral sessions will be conducted to provide detailed insights into the state’s industrial policy and to furnish information to industrialists. Subject experts will also be on hand to offer insights into the state’s industrial landscape and policies.
During the Regional Industry Conclave, various industrial units are planning to establish plants for a range of products on 644.97 acres of land. The proposed investment for these projects is approximately Rs 8014.94 crore, which is expected to create employment opportunities for more than 12 thousand individuals in the districts of Ujjain and Indore divisions. These units will focus on sectors such as food processing, plastics, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, technical textiles, advanced carbon, cement, oxygen cylinders, ethanol, textiles, apparel, detergents, and more in the aforementioned districts
Exhibition will be organised by various industrial units
In the Regional Industry Conclave, various industrial units will organise exhibitions focusing on their products, which mainly include Auto-OEM products by VECV Limited, Plastic products by Shreeji Polymer, Garment by Best Corporation, Plastic Recycling by Enviro Recycling, PVS Pipes by Sudhakar Pipes, Gas Distribution by Gujarat Gas Ltd, Bag Manufacturing by Brand Concept, Medical Devices by Yasen, Medical Devices by Vanushi Pvt Ltd, e-Bike and e-Cycle by Tatvelps.
Innaugration and Dedication of over 12 industrial areas
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will innaugrate and dedicate of various units at more than 12 industrial places in the state in the Regional Industry Conclave. In order to spread public awareness about industrial development to every corner of the state, these programmes of dedication and bhoomi pujan are being given a larger scale at the local level. Besides, the general public will also attend the programmes along with local public representatives and representatives of units.
Regional Industry Conclave Minute to Minute Programme
A big Regional Industry Conclave is being organised in the district on 1st and 2nd March at Engineering College, Ujjain. For the event, a huge dome has been built in the grounds of the Engineering College, in which the main event will be held in Avantika Hall at the venue. As per the scheduled programme, arrival of guests and lamp lighting programme will be organised on March 1 at 11 am. From 11.40 am to 11.45 am, welcome address will be given by Chief Secretary Madhya Pradesh Government, Smt. Veera Rana. After this, from 11.45 to 11.55, information regarding investment activities in Madhya Pradesh will be provided by Principal Secretary Shri Raghvendra Kumar Singh through power point presentation. After this, a session of speeches by prominent industrialists will be organised from 12 to 12.20 pm. After this, Bhoomi Pujan and dedication will be performed by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. Land allotment letters will be distributed to investors. ODOP Business Directory will be released in the programme. Following this, the address will be given by Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Industries Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Chaitanya Kashyap. After this, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Government Dr. Mohan Yadav will address the programme. One-to-one discussions will be held with investors in Vikramaditya Lounge from 2.30 to 2.45 pm. Simultaneously, sessions on MSME and Startup session, investment opportunities on milk, agriculture, food in Madhya Pradesh and infrastructure in Madhya Pradesh will be organised in Malwa Hall. During this time, buyer-seller meet and e-biz seller registration will be done in Kshipra Hall.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will also hold one-to-one discussions with industrialists at the Regional Industry Conclave in Ujjain on March 2 from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm. During this period, sessions will be organised mainly on opportunities and challenges of religious tourism, film tourism and pharma medical devices. From 12.50 to 1 pm, an address on ‘The Future Ready State a Way Forward’ will be organised by Shri P. Narhari, Secretary, Micro, Small and Medium Department. A session for addressing industrialists will be organised from 1 pm to 1.10 pm. After this, the programme will be addressed by Chief Minister Dr. Yadav from 1.10 to 1.20 pm. The programme will be addressed virtually by Cabinet Minister Shri Piyush Goyal from 1.30 to 1.45 pm. Later, a press conference will be organised from 3 pm to 3.30 pm.
