Ministers and MLAs take stock of the situation on the instructions of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has expressed deep sorrow over the untimely death of children in Sagar district. He said that negligence of duty will not be tolerated. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has asked Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Shri Govind Singh Rajput, MLA Shri Gopal Bhargava, and MLA Shri Shailendra Jain to take stock of the situation and make arrangements for proper treatment of the injured. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has directed the Sagar district administration to provide financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh each to the affected families and provide proper treatment to the children injured in the accident. Acting on the instructions of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, two officers, CMO and Sub Engineer of Shahpur Nagar Panchayat have been suspended for negligence.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that according to the information, a wall collapsed on a pandal resulting in a wall collapse of a part of a house next to the temple as a result of which children playing there were killed. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that we are providing treatment and relief to the injured on priority. Necessary action will be taken after identifying the dilapidated building. He said that the state government has also instructed the disaster teams to remain active in dealing with the situations of excessive rainfall in the districts.
