Chhattisgarh records average rainfall of 287.5 mm so far

According to information compiled by the State Level Control Room set up by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department of the State Government, an average rainfall of 287.5 mm has been recorded in the state since June 1. As of this morning, July 18, Bijapur district has recorded the highest average rainfall of 535.9 mm, while Surguja district has recorded the lowest average rainfall of 136.9 mm.

An average rainfall of 197.6 mm was recorded in Surajpur district, 339.1 mm in Balrampur, 240.8 mm in Jashpur, 247.8 mm in Koriya, and 205.9 mm in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district.

Similarly, average rainfall of 265.5 mm was recorded in Raipur district, 300.2 mm in Baloda Bazar, 348.9 mm in Gariaband, 226.6 mm in Mahasamund, 288.6 mm in Dhamtari, 339.9 mm in Bilaspur, 515.9 mm in Mungeli, 229.0 mm in Raigarh, 190.5 mm in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, 313.7 mm in Janjgir-Champa, 275.0 mm in Sakti, 394.4 mm in Korba, 342.1 mm in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, and 184.2 mm in Durg.

From June 1 until now, an average rainfall of 259.0 mm has been recorded in Kabirdham district, 256.0 mm in Rajnandgaon, 272.2 mm in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, 190.9 mm in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, 276.7 mm in Balod, 172.6 mm in Bemetara, 383.0 mm in Bastar, 286.4 mm in Kondagaon, 289.0 mm in Kanker, 317.0 mm in Narayanpur, 318.3 mm in Dantewada, and 448.2 mm in Sukma district.
