Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the activities of the Building Development Corporation should be expanded so that the Corporation gets the recognition of a strong and excellent construction agency. The construction work of buildings in various areas should be of good quality and the Corporation should also be associated with the activities of information technology and other industries. The possibilities of innovative work in the field of building construction should also be realized by the Corporation.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the meeting of the Board of Directors of Building Development Corporation at Mantralaya on Tuesday. Public Works Minister Shri Rakesh Singh was also present at the meeting. It may be noted that the Building Development Corporation is responsible for construction works costing more than Rs 20 crore related to building development.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav sought information regarding the activities of the Corporation. It was told in the meeting that the Corporation has also been given the responsibility of constructing buildings of some Sainik Schools of the state besides the buildings of Sultania Hospital of Bhopal and Medical College of Ujjain. Not only this, but the Government of India has also given responsibilities to the Corporation as a construction agency.
Chief Secretary Smt. Veera Rana, Additional Chief Secretary Chief Minister’s Office Dr. Rajesh Rajoura, Principal Secretary Public Works Department Shri D.P.
