“Know Your Army” Program to be Held on October 5th and 6th in Raipur

Selected Children from Raipur will be taken on an educational tour to various Important Millitary Institutions across the country

Brigadier Shri Aman Anand of the Indian Army paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai at his residence office today. Brigadier Shri Anand currently commands the Chhattisgarh and Odisha Sub Region of the Indian Army. At the meeting, Brigadier Anand discussed with Chief Minister the upcoming plans of Indian Army in Chhattisgarh.

Brigadier Shri Anand revealed that the Indian Army will organize “Know Your Army” program on October 5th and 6th in Raipur. This program will provide an opportunity for local residents, especially children, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Army. He mentioned that selected children from the region will be taken on educational tours to various significant military institutions across the country. This initiative aims to instill discipline, patriotism, and awareness of the Army’s contributions among these children, fostering enthusiasm for military service.

Brigadier Shri Anand further explained that the “Know Your Army” program will showcase various military weapons and techniques used in warfare. The event will feature exhibitions of tanks, artillery, air defense weapons, bridging equipment, and other armaments, offering the public a chance to see and learn about these assets. Additionally, the program will include a dog show, an impressive Army band show, and a martial music program.
