Ambuja Cements helps a Contractor attain financial stability

Chandigarh, 12 July 2024: Ambuja Cements helps Kasabad based Mr. Ranjit Singh rise from a daily wage labourer to a known contractor across Ludhiana. Mr. Singh had very humble beginnings, and even had to drop out of school due to his family’s financial constraints. Starting as a daily wage labourer 30 years ago, life was not easy as he would often get to eat only one meal a day. During that time, he took 2 years to train as a professional mason and soon started taking on small contractor work with a team of 2-5 workers. Since then, he has been associated with Ambuja Cements. Mr. Singh’s hard work and quality of work have made him popular.

He now has a team of 13 masons and 25 skilled workers to work on his multiple projects across 15 villages across Ludhiana. Ambuja Cements is proud to be associated with such real-life heroes like Mr. Singh, whose success in the construction industry of Punjab is a result of an intensive drive to learn, upskilling through commitment to excellence
