Chief Minister Dr. Yadav pays homage at the Samadhi of Acharya Shri Vidyasagar Maharaj in Dongargarh
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav during his visit to Chhattisgarh today, paid homage at the Samadhi of Acharya Shri Vidyasagar Maharaj, situated in the Jain pilgrimage site Chandragiri Dongargarh. Accompanied by officials from the Dongargarh Trust Committee, Dr. Yadav was briefed on various activities conducted within the Ashram. In recognition of his visit, Dr. Yadav was honored by committee officials. It is noteworthy that Jain Acharya Shri Vidyasagar Maharaj attained Samadhi on February 18th. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also toured the mobile Charkha Kendra operating within the ashram. Engaging with employees, he sought insights into the cloth-weaving process and inspected the quality of the textiles.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Acharya Shri Vidyasagar Maharaj was a saint not only of the Jain community but of the entire India and the world, who always wished for the welfare of the world. He appreciated Acharyaji’s inclination towards non-violence.Chief Minister Dr. Yadav discussed the personality and activities of Acharya Shri and apprised himself about the projects run by him. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was presented a photo of Acharya Shri Vidyasagar ji as a memento by the members of the Trust. On this occasion, Shri Rahul Kothari and former Minister of Chhattisgarh Shri Rajesh Munat were present.
