Chandigarh, July 22, 2024: ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), the leading global accountancy body and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai, announced signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which forges a partnership aimed at significantly enhancing professional opportunities, and fostering excellence in the fields of accountancy and finance.
Prabhanshu Mittal, ACCA’s Head of Educational Partner Relationships, and Prof. Manoj Kumar Tiwari, Director at IIM Mumbai, officiated the signing, marking a significant milestone in the institutions’ commitment to advancing the accountancy and finance profession globally.
This collaboration aims to leverage the strengths of both institutions to benefit their members and the broader community of accountancy professionals. By combining their expertise and resources, IIM Mumbai and ACCA will create a powerful network that fosters innovation, knowledge sharing, and best practices in the industry.
As a part of this MoU, ACCA and IIM Mumbai will facilitate a range of opportunities for students, including access to ACCA’s professional development and learning resources, facilitating competencies, skills, and training mapping. They will jointly develop strategies and marketing campaigns to promote their global collaboration and work collaboratively to promote ACCA’s training, qualifications and master’s programme. The partnership will also explore new pathways for further education and career enhancement, and enhance employability through capacity-building initiatives. This comprehensive collaboration will empower students to achieve successful careers and become future leaders in their field.
