Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership, India is rapidly progressing towards becoming the world’s third-largest economy, with Madhya Pradesh playing a significant role in this mission. To facilitate the establishment of industries in Madhya Pradesh, a dedicated cell will be established at the Collector’s office to expedite the necessary permissions, for which the Collector will be held accountable. This process will also be continuously monitored at the state level. Dr. Yadav made these remarks at the All India Entrepreneurs Conference organized by Laghu Bharti in Dewas today. He announced an interactive session with leading industrialists in Bengaluru on Wednesday, August 7th, and Thursday, August 8th, to promote investment in the state. Additionally, he released the ‘Madhya Pradesh Udyog Darshan Pustika’ during the event.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav emphasized that Madhya Pradesh is an ideal destination for industrial development, considering its regional and geographical advantages. The state boasts ample skilled human resources and excellent road and rail connectivity. Since the formation of the new government, the Regional Industry Conclave has been held regularly to foster investment. Following the successful conclaves in Ujjain and Jabalpur, the event will now also be organized in Gwalior, Sagar, and Rewa.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav stated that the government’s top priority includes not only employment-driven industries but also the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises. He emphasized that the government will continue to support the development of small-scale industries, cottage industries, and horticulture. Dr. Yadav highlighted that Madhya Pradesh’s commitment to transparency and cleanliness is exemplary, with the single-window system for industrial development standing as a testament to this commitment. He also congratulated the officials of Laghu Bharti for successfully organizing the All India Entrepreneurs Conference.
Micro, Small, and Medium Industries Minister Shri Chaitanya Kashyap announced that the Madhya Pradesh government aims to shift the focus from “Employ India” to “Entrepreneur India.” He noted that start-ups have become a significant part of India’s culture, even in small towns. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the government is dedicated to fostering the growth of start-ups. To ensure full transparency in the MSME sector, all subsidies will soon be directly transferred into the accounts of MSME industries through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system. Additionally, on August 13, the Madhya Pradesh government will host an entrepreneurship conference for women entrepreneurs in Bhopal. This conference aims to promote women entrepreneurs and establish specially reserved industrial areas for women in both urban and rural regions.
Addressing the programme, Shri Krishna Gopal said that in the last 2 to 3 decades, Laghu Bharati has emerged as a national organization. Laghu Bharti is an effective organization working for industrial development. He said that earning profit by running an industry should not be the aim of entrepreneurs.
