Private FM Channel initiates campaign to raise public awareness for tree plantation

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has launched the “Ek Ped Mahtari Ke Naam” mega campaign in Chhattisgarh, inspired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” initiative for environmental conservation and protection. On this occasion, he urged citizens to join this significant movement to save nature. Chief Minister also flagged off the ‘Ek Ped Mahtari Ke Naam Rath’. Commerce and Industries and Labour Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Dewangan and Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal were also present at the event.

During the campaign launch held at Chief Minister’s residence, Shri Sai congratulated 94.3 My FM and emphasized the importance of reaching as many people as possible with this innovative initiative. “The campaign is being started to ensure that this initiative reaches the maximum number of people. Everyone should participate in this campaign and plant a tree. We will plant trees as tribute to the women power in Dantewada, Ratanpur, Dongargarh, Chandrapur, and Kudargarh—the sacred lands of our female deities. I urge all of you to be a part of this great movement to save nature. Your collective efforts will prove to be a milestone,” said the Chief Minister.

Chief Minister also distributed seeds of various plant varieties to school children and encouraged them to participate in tree plantation.
