Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reviews the progress of Sleemanabad tunnel work
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the construction work of the Sleemanabad Tunnel should be completed within the time limit. The Chief Minister was reviewing the progress of the construction work of the Sleemanabad Tunnel at Samatva Bhawan located at the Chief Minister’s residence. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that special care should be taken while constructing the tunnel under a residential area.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Sleemanabad Tunnel under construction under the Bargi Diversion Project is a mega project for the state. The project will provide irrigation facilities to the farmers and drinking water to the villagers of nearby districts including Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna, and Rewa. Industrial units will also be supplied water through the canal system. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also gave instructions to create an online dashboard for continuous monitoring of other mega projects of the state. A presentation based on the updated progress of the Bargi Diversion Project and Sleemanabad Tunnel was given at the meeting.

Chauhan, Member (Energy) Shri Shishir Kushwaha, Chief Engineer Upper Narmada Zone Jabalpur Shri D.L. Verma, Secretary Shri G.P. Sonkar, Secretary (Cell) Shri Manish Thakur and concerned officers were present.
